We offer a variety of education programming for our community partner's program participants. These education programs are also available to public/private community organizations, such as campus groups, student organizations, after-school programs, and neighborhood associations.

Family Planning Education
We believe that women and families of all ages should know what resources are available for planning a healthy and stable family. Our adult education program offers two education sessions available to co-ed or single gender groups.
Family Planning with A Step Ahead reviews the importance of family planning, consent in relationships, STI prevention, all birth control options, and a review of A Step Ahead resources and access to services. This session can range from 30-60 minutes depending on allotted time.
Healthy Relationships & Prevention Education is an expanded version of our other adult education session. This session includes reviewing and understanding the importance of healthy relationships & communication, consent, family planning, STI prevention, all birth control options, and A Step Ahead resources and access to services. This session is 90 minutes.

These education sessions are great for college campuses, parent groups, recovery programs, job-training programs, Adult-Education programs, re-entry programs, and so many more.

Young Adult Prevention Education
We believe that teens and young adults should understand how their body and relationships work. Through our Teen Talk and Real Life, Real Talk education sessions we cover comprehensive and important topics for teens and young adults (aged 13-17 and 18-24) in our community.

We offer the following education sessions virtually or in-person:
Real Life, Real Talk: This is an in-depth 2 to 2.5 hour program includes reviewing and understanding the importance of abstinence, reproductive anatomy, consent & coercion, online safety, healthy relationships & communication, STIs & HIV and prevention, pregnancy, and birth control. This course is interactive and includes activities. This program can be co-ed or single gender. This course can be held over the course of 2 individual, 1 hour sessions or one 2.5 hour session with a break and interactive review game.
Teen Talk: This is a condensed version of Real Life, Real Talk. This 1 hour program reviews relationships, consent, abstinence, STI prevention, and pregnancy prevention. This program can be co-ed or single gender.
